ATELIER Michel Laflamme was established in 2025, following 29 years of practice under the name Michel Laflamme Architect.
Graduating with highest distinction from Laval University in Quebec City, Michel began his career alongside world-renowned architect Arthur Erickson and later at Nick Milkovich Architects, where he honed his craft for 15 years before founding his own studio.
Guided by a continuous search for timeless design, Michel’s work explores the interplay of light, material, and context — distilling each project to its essential form and purpose. His approach embraces clarity, restraint, and a deep respect for function.
Michel’s extensive experience in high-end residential commissions has allowed him to work holistically — shaping buildings, landscapes, and interiors with equal care. His past portfolio spans art galleries, spas and wellness centres, restaurants, custom residences, and offices, each marked by precision and quiet elegance.Examples of past work are available upon request.
